How heavy are brass profiles?

The weight of brass profiles depends heavily on the profile geometry. Depending on the alloy, the density of brass profiles is 8.71 g/cm³.

How are brass profiles made?

Brass profiles are made by a forming process. The cylindrical billet of the required brass alloy is heated to approx. 750°C and pressed by a ram through a die that contains the negative contour of the required profile.

How much does it cost to manufacture brass profiles?
